On our page, we share things that we find helpful and worthy, hoping that it would help others too. Needless to say, we are not professionals. But, we hope you find something beneficial while you are here <3
The New Year is almost here and, we all are looking forward to making some healthy, positive changes in our lives and new resolutions that we hope to keep throughout the coming year. But most of the time, though we make promises to ourselves, we fail to keep them. Here are some tips that might help you with keeping and following your resolutions. Also, refer to the printable templates that we have made to stick with these goals!
Have a why power - Let's break this down to an easier definition. Often, we make resolutions for the sake of making them and not because we want to keep them or to make a change. Instead of having the willpower to keep those resolutions, have a why power or a strong reason to take that particular resolution.
Visualize as if it was already a reality - Visualize as if you were following those promises you made to yourself. What picture you paint in your mind, often becomes your reality.
Be realistic - Before making any decision or forcing yourself into something, make sure that that change will work in your life. Don't jump to conclusions.
Knowing what seed you sow - Compare your mind to a fertile farm. Whatever you sow grows. So if you plant the seeds of positivity or positive changes, you get positive results and vice versa.
Lastly, accept that despite trying, the goals you decide on might not go in the right track or how you want it to go. You may not be able to tick off that goal of exercising 30 mins everyday. You may not be able to cross off that goal of hitting the bed before 10 pm. You may fall off track. There might be various reasons for that, but if you have the right determination to do that, to try that again, you are good to go! Don't beat yourself up for not going according to what you had planned. It's hard to get into a habit, but it is never impossible. Get up, be realistic, give it another shot, you got this :)
